This section introduces you to basic software troubleshooting steps. After finishing this section, you should be able to:

  • Identify common steps to follow in troubleshooting software problems.
  • Configure compatibility settings for Windows applications.
  • Use Windows Task Manager to:
    • View information on running processes.
    • Prevent applications from running at system startup.
    • Close unresponsive apps.
  • Repair a Windows program in Apps & features.
